JavaScript Validator
Compiles your JavaScript to check for syntax errors, without ever executing it. A syntax check only — not a linter, and it won't catch semantic issues.
How it works
Paste JavaScript into the input panel and click Validate.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this run my code?
- No — it only compiles the code to detect syntax errors (via JavaScript's Function constructor). The code itself is never invoked.
- Can I validate a module with import/export statements?
- No — top-level import/export syntax isn't valid inside a function body, so module code will report a syntax error here even if it's valid as a module. Paste just the function/script body instead.
