Prerequisites: Level 3 — Advanced
Build these using streams, isolates, Flutter, and the testing and shipping practices from Level 3.
1. Flutter Notes App
Build a notes app with a list screen, a detail screen, search, and swipe
to delete. Manage state with a ChangeNotifier (or Riverpod), persist notes
as JSON with shared_preferences or a local database, write unit tests for
the model and widget tests for the list screen, and support light and dark
themes.
2. Live Price Dashboard
Build a Flutter screen that shows prices from a Stream (simulated or from
a WebSocket), updating with a StreamBuilder, with a chart of the last few
values and a clear error state when the connection drops.
3. REST API with Shelf
Build a JSON API for tasks with package:shelf and shelf_router,
validating input, returning proper status codes, and storing data in a
database with parameterized queries. Test the handlers, compile it with
dart compile exe, and ship it as a small Docker image.
