Prerequisites: Level 3 — Advanced
Build these using classes, parallelism, remoting, security, module design, and the CI/CD practices from Level 3.
1. Server Health Dashboard
Collect CPU, memory, disk, and service status from a list of servers in
parallel (remoting or ForEach-Object -Parallel), store results with a
timestamp, and generate an HTML dashboard highlighting problems. Schedule it
to run every 15 minutes.
2. Cloud Resource Cleanup
Using the Az (Azure) or AWS Tools module, find resources tagged as
temporary or older than a set age, report their estimated cost, and remove
them after confirmation — with full logging, -WhatIf support, and
secrets stored in the SecretManagement vault.
3. A Published Module
Build a module with public and private functions, classes, argument completers, comment-based help, and Pester tests with code coverage. Run PSScriptAnalyzer and tests in a GitHub Actions workflow, and publish it to a private repository or the PowerShell Gallery.
