Console Output

console.log() prints values to the console — available identically in Node and every browser's developer tools.

console.log("A message", 42, true);
console.error("Something went wrong");
console.warn("Careful with this");

console.error() and console.warn() print the same way but are styled differently (often red/yellow) and easier to filter for in browser devtools when debugging a real application.
