Setting Up Your Development Environment
VS Code with the "PHP Intelephense" extension is a popular free choice, offering autocomplete and inline error checking. PhpStorm (paid, free for students) is a heavier, PHP-specific IDE with deeper refactoring tools built in. Either works well for everything in this course.
