Packages
Prerequisites: Modules
A package is a collection of modules published together, installable with pip, Python's package manager, from the Python Package Index (PyPI).
pip install requests
import requests
response = requests.get("https://api.example.com")
print(response.status_code)
This is how the huge Python ecosystem mentioned earlier is actually used
day to day — install a package once, then import it like any built-in
module. Level 2 covers managing packages properly with a virtual
environment, so installs for one project don't affect another.
