Virtual Environments
Prerequisites: Packages
A virtual environment is an isolated set of installed packages for one project, so different projects don't conflict over needing different versions of the same package.
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate # macOS/Linux
venv\Scripts\activate # Windows
pip install requests
Once activated, pip install only affects this project's venv
folder, not your whole system. This is standard practice for every
real Python project, not an optional extra step.
