Basic Types
TypeScript's fundamental types mirror JavaScript's own:
string, number, boolean, plus null and undefined.
let name: string = "Ada";
let age: number = 25;
let isActive: boolean = true;
Unlike some typed languages, TypeScript has only number for all
numeric values — no separate int/float, matching JavaScript's own
single numeric type.
