Performance and Build Tooling

Type-checking an entire large project can get slow. tsc --noEmit (type-check only, produce no output) is commonly run separately from the actual build, which uses a faster tool (esbuild, SWC) that strips types without re-checking them.

tsc --noEmit # fast feedback: are there type errors?
esbuild src/index.ts --bundle --outfile=dist/index.js

This "check with tsc, build with something faster" split is the standard setup behind most modern TypeScript build pipelines (Vite included).
