Installing TypeScript
Prerequisites: Node.js installed
TypeScript is installed as an npm package, so Node.js must already be installed first.
npm install -g typescript
tsc --version
In a real project, install it as a dev dependency instead of globally:
npm install --save-dev typescript
npx tsc --version
